We are seeking the services of a Leisure & Lifestyle Officer

Role:
Contribute to the health and wellbeing of each and every one of the 98 Residents in our care.

Your tasks will include:
• Getting to know each Resident, identifying and assessing their interests, strengths and needs
• Planning individual and group activities to:
– reflect each Resident’s individual profile
– promote a sense of belonging, independence, dignity and wellbeing for each Resident
• Delivering planned activities
• Evaluating activities and programs to ensure they are supporting Residents’ emotional, cultural, social and spiritual wellbeing
• Documenting your work clearly, concisely and in a timely manner

We’re looking for a person who:
• is warm, caring, flexible and has a good sense of humour
• can think outside the box
• enjoys being part of a team and possesses strong people skills

We require:
• Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Health/Leisure or equivalent – or be working towards getting your qualification
• Current First Aid/CPR – or be willing to get one
• Current National Police check – or be willing to get one
• Flu and Covid-19 vaccination evidence
